Learning Beyond the Classroom
The students of the AHS group 3d brought the poem “The Crocodile” to life in a very special way. After working on the poem in class, they created a funny and creative choreography to match its story.
As heavy snowfall turned our school surroundings into a winter wonderland, we couldn’t resist the opportunity to film the video outside in the snow. The contrast between the icy landscape and the adventurous poem made the performance even more entertaining.
In “The Crocodile”, a woman rides along the River Nile on a crocodile – a daring journey that ends with an unexpected (and rather shocking!) twist: the crocodile eats her in the end. Our students captured this humorous and slightly dark ending with great enthusiasm and plenty of expression.
A wonderful example of how literature, movement and creativity can come together – even (or especially) on a snowy day!
