Lights, Camera, Action! – “The School Play”
The students of class 1c recently stepped into the spotlight by performing and filming the theatre play “The School Play” – and they did a fantastic job!
The story follows Mike, a boy who is thrilled to finally get a role as Harry Potter in a school play. However, things don’t go as planned at first: Mike struggles to show the right emotions on stage and keeps getting things wrong. Feeling frustrated, he turns to his parents for acting advice and extra practice. With their help – and a lot of determination – Mike grows more confident, and in the end, he delivers a successful and convincing performance on stage.
To bring the play to life, the students had to memorise their lines, act out different emotions and perform in front of the camera. This challenged them to work on their language skills, expression and self-confidence, while also learning how important teamwork is.
The filmed performance shows just how much effort and enthusiasm the students put into this project. We are very proud of their commitment and their courage to perform – a wonderful example of learning through creativity and drama!
